When crosscutting sheets of plywood on sawhorses, Club member Mike Thomas of Savage, Minnesota, found that his circular saw would bind as the two halves of the sheet fell inward. To remedy the problem, he created a pair of sheet-goods supports for his sawhorses. Each support, built from two 2x4s and 3/4-in. plywood, rests on the sawhorse beam, between the legs. The plywood tops prevent the workpieces from falling after being cut. Storing the supports is convenient as well — they are light enough to hang on the wall.
